Munții Bodoc

The Bodoki-mountains, which in their full length are referred to as Bodoki-havasok, are surrounded by the plains of the Olt and Feketeügy. It is more significant heights are the Kőmöge (1241 m), the Henter field (1213 m) and the Bodoki-peak (1194 m). The latter peak offers excellent views of Lower Háromszék, in the background with the Csukás Mountains, the Bodzai Mountains, the Bucsecs mountain range, the Királykő and even further the Fogarasi Mountains. Looking west, we can admire the Baróti Mountains. From mid-April, the Bodok peak turns into a meadow of snowdrops. Many people come here from Háromszék to admire this sight.

Those who descend from the peak south-west to Bodok, after a half an hour walk can see the ruins of the Castle of Kincsás for half an hour. Those who turn to Málnás village will be able to take a rest at the ruins of the Herec Castle.
