In the village center, north of Sepsiszentgyörgy, in the valley of the Körös stream, under the dense forest of the Vadas, the inhabitants of are predominantly Roman Catholics, but the Reformed and Unitarian communities also have their own churches and local pastors. Northeast of the village, on the hill to the left of the road to Kálnok, you can see a ruined building. Once a polygonal Gothic church stood here, and only the ruins of the tower defy time.
The locals call it the chapel of the Red monks. The Red Monks were named after St. Paul, the Hermit. The Hungarians called them Red monks called them Red monks because of the red twine worn on their waist.
