Holy Trinity Church

The Baroque-style Catholic church began construction in 1701, replacing a wooden church that had been relocated to Esztelnek. The foundation was laid in 1722, and the church was built over a period of more than seven decades.

It was consecrated in 1796 by Ignác Batthyány, the Bishop of Transylvania, in honor of the Holy Trinity. Over the years, the building was damaged by numerous earthquakes and fires but underwent a complete renovation in 1996. Beneath the sacristy lies the crypt containing the earthly remains of Franciscan friar and school founder Nagy Mózes.
