Bubbling Spa

Administratively affixed to Zăbala/Zabola, Peteni/Székelypetőfalva is outstandingly rich in mineral waters. Meanwhile the tasty water with healing properties bursts out in the northern area of the settlement, and it is recommended against various stomach, intestine, liver and urinary diseases, the open-air spa can be found in the southern end.

The Bubbling Spa already gained fame in the early 20th century. Back then, the sparkling mineral water was successfully used in the treatment of rheumatism and arthritis. Nowadays, besides the open-air bathing pool, visitors may also enjoy the sauna- and spring house, as well as the picnic pavilion.
